Good Friday morning Caps fans, hope you all are having a lovely week and are getting just a little bit closer to a weekend rest.
It was a quiet week in Caps world and we had some great content this week on the site so I will take a second to just promote that, rather than ramble on at you like usual.
But excitement seems to be high for the Caps’ date with Portland on Saturday, despite the team’s odd form issues at home, which Axel Schuster acknowledged in an open letter to fans this week.
Personally, I’m not worried about it, as we have a small sample size and weird things happen to start the year. With apparently strong ticket sales for the first Cascadia match of the year, let’s see if things can get back on track.

Open letter to fans, from Schuster ? To which fans ? STHs ?
I have heard nothing about this (not a STH) nor have seen it mentioned otherwise.
A question arises though, why is such an open letter needed four matches into the season ?
