Welcome back, everyone.
After a break for some international football, the Whitecaps are back to make up for a wildfire smoke-delayed game in Chicago, as they take on the Fire on Tuesday night.
Gregg Berhalter’s side are fifth in the East and have had their moments looking like one of the League’s most dangerous teams, even if the consistency is not always there.
In terms of news and notes, here is the latest from training.

Guess the XI – Competition Rules
• Predictions are considered valid only if posted in the correct match thread before the official lineup is announced (typically about one hour before kickoff).
• You earn 1 point for each correctly predicted player in the Starting XI.
• You earn an additional 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
• You earn 5 points for correctly predicting the match result (Win/Draw/Loss).
• This increases to 10 points if you also correctly predict the exact scoreline.
• Therefore, a perfect prediction (Starting XI + result + exact scoreline) is worth a maximum of 25 points.
