Guess the Starting XI – Leagues Cup vs. Tigres

Welcome back, everyone.

After two dismal matches at BC Place, the Vancouver Whitecaps take their Leagues Cup campaign on the road against rather familiar foes Tigres in Monterrey.

Tigres are not quite the Liga MX powerhouse they once were, but are still a very dangerous side, and they’ve picked up two PK wins in their first two matches of this competition, so will be looking for the full three points if they want to advance any further in the competition.

For the Whitecaps, we could see almost anything, given this is a true dead-rubber match for them.

Ok, on to rules and standings we go.

Guess the XI – Competition Rules

• Predictions are considered valid only if posted in the correct match thread before the official lineup is announced (typically about one hour before kickoff).
• You earn 1 point for each correctly predicted player in the Starting XI.
• You earn an additional 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
• You earn 5 points for correctly predicting the match result (Win/Draw/Loss).
• This increases to 10 points if you also correctly predict the exact scoreline.
• Therefore, a perfect prediction (Starting XI + result + exact scoreline) is worth a maximum of 25 points.
