Welcome back, everyone.
The Vancouver Whitecaps will try again to restart their MLS season this Wednesday night in Ohio, as they take on FC Cincinnati in an intra-conference matchup.
Cincinnati currently sits seventh in the East, with a symmetrical 5-5-5 record. Advanced models seem to echo that profile, as they look like a true middle-of-the-road team through 15 matches. This is one of the league’s better attacking sides, but with a subpar defensive record, they tend to play a lot of coin-flip matches.
In terms of Vancouver’s squad, Sebastian Berhalter is back with the team and should be available. Otherwise, there are no major updates on the team news front.
Ok, on to rules and standings we go.
Guess the XI – Competition Rules
• Predictions are considered valid only if posted in the correct match thread before the official lineup is announced (typically about one hour before kickoff).
• You earn 1 point for each correctly predicted player in the Starting XI.
• You earn an additional 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
• You earn 5 points for correctly predicting the match result (Win/Draw/Loss).
• This increases to 10 points if you also correctly predict the exact scoreline.
• Therefore, a perfect prediction (Starting XI + result + exact scoreline) is worth a maximum of 25 points.

I suspect it will be Badwal in for Gauld but it would be nice to see Muller and Gauld start together
