After a long break, we are back to Vancouver Whitecaps action as the four-time reigning Canadian Championship winners return to domestic cup competition at Swangard Stadium on Wednesday night.
This could be a bit of a blended lineup, with many players just returning from international duty. That opens the door for younger Canadians and depth players to step in and show their quality, while also giving Jesper Sørensen a chance to experiment with any tactical wrinkles developed over the break. The pause in fixtures has also been valuable for Ryan Gauld to continue building back toward full fitness, so it’ll be interesting to see how he is managed here.

• You earn an additional 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
• You earn 5 points for correctly predicting the match result (Win/Draw/Loss).
• This increases to 10 points if you also correctly predict the exact scoreline.
• Therefore, a perfect prediction (Starting XI + result + exact scoreline) is worth a maximum of 25 points.

Feels weird to think about the ‘Caps again! At least Calvary have also had a bit of a break too. To be honest, my score prediction is more of wishful thinking.
