Guess the XI – Competition Rules

• Predictions are considered valid only if posted in the correct match thread before the official lineup is announced (typically about one hour before kickoff).
• You earn 1 point for each correctly predicted player in the Starting XI.
• You earn an additional 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
• You earn 5 points for correctly predicting the match result (Win/Draw/Loss).
• This increases to 10 points if you also correctly predict the exact scoreline.
• Therefore, a perfect prediction (Starting XI + result + exact scoreline) is worth a maximum of 25 points.

      According to Montreal radio host and former AppleTV commentator Jeremy Filosa, Major League Soccer clubs have been informed to expect an announcement regarding the relocation of the Vancouver Whitecaps to Las Vegas.

      His exact tweet text:

      Two sources are telling me that the @MLS teams have been told to expect a relocation of the @WhitecapsFC. Unless there’s a major turning point in this Caps saga, the team will be in Vegas next year. Extremely sad situation.

      Obviously this is one guy’s report, far from certain, but he is a former Apple TV commentator for MLS likely with some level of connection. Gives it slightly more credence than a rando. Just to clarify – I am just posting a report, I have no idea if it is true or not. Sounds like others are reporting conflicting things – I hope that’s true!

      Edit: Farhan Lalji from TSN states this isn’t true:

      From a source: Nothing has been decided. If it were, today’s meeting would not be happening.

      So sounds like a war of the sources. FWIW, both can be true – it’s possible nothing has been formally decided, but also that MLS is telling its clubs to prepare behind the scenes.
