The Vancouver Whitecaps are in action on Friday night as they take on Sporting KC at BC Place.
It’s a big opportunity for the Whitecaps to continue their strong home form, with just two matches left before an extended spell away from BC Place. They won’t be back in MLS action at home until August, which is a bit wild to say.
In terms of the roster, no major changes, though Ranko Veselinović and Sam Adekugbe are getting closer to returning.

Guess the XI – Competition Rules
• Predictions are considered valid only if posted in the correct match thread before the official lineup is announced (typically about one hour before kickoff).
• You earn 1 point for each correctly predicted player in the Starting XI.
• You earn an additional 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
• You earn 5 points for correctly predicting the match result (Win/Draw/Loss).
• This increases to 10 points if you also correctly predict the exact scoreline.
• Therefore, a perfect prediction (Starting XI + result + exact scoreline) is worth a maximum of 25 points.
