Guess the Starting XI – Match Nineteen vs. LAFC

Welcome back, everyone.

After dropping two straight games for the first time this year, Vancouver will be down in California this weekend, seeking revenge against the team that knocked them out of the MLS Cup Playoffs late last year.

Vancouver remains without Jayden Nelson, Sebastian Berhalter and Brian White on international duty, while Ali Ahmed has now been officially sidelined for 6-8 weeks with an ankle sprain.

LAFC, meanwhile, is coming off of a mixed performance at the Club World Cup, where they were winless over their three group stage matches, including a 2-0 loss to Chelsea in their opener.

Alright, without further delay, on we go to rules and standings.

– Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE (or more accurately, whichever is the correct match thread) before the lineup is officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
– You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
– You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
– All this means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
– At the end of each half of the season, the contestant’s lowest two scores (or missed predictions) of that period will be deducted from the cumulative standings.
