Welcome back, everyone.
The Vancouver Whitecaps are hosting Colorado on Saturday night at BC Place, wrapping up what will be a very busy back-end of the week at the stadium, following Concacaf action midweek, and the Women’s national team on Friday night. For all the specifics on the Rapids matchup, you can dive into our match preview.
In terms of the squad, Vancouver should have the same host of players available that they did midweek, although Andres Cubas could be back in the mix, depending on how he manages to progress (He is not on the injury list, so could play). UPDATE: Jayden Nelson has been ruled out.
I will have updated standings after the weekend.
– Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE (or more accurately, whichever is the correct match thread) before the lineup is officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
– You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
– You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
– All this means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
– At the end of each half of the season, the contestant’s lowest two scores (or missed predictions) of that period will be deducted from the cumulative standings.
