Vancouver’s busy run of play at home continues, as the Whitecaps are set to face CF Montreal this Saturday evening at BC Place.
Montreal’s start to the season has been poor, but despite the fact that the odds should be stacked in Vancouver’s favour, there’s no doubt the Quebec side will be desperate for a result to help get their season off and running.
In terms of Vancouver’s squad, Sam Adekugbe is out, while Jayden Nelson looks doubtful as he deals with a hamstring issue. Otherwise, Ryan Gauld and Ranko Veselinovic played a full 90+ against Monterrey on Wednesday, while Vite, Cubas, and White all came off the bench.

- Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE (or more accurately, whichever is the correct match thread) before the lineup is officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
- You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
- You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
- All this means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
- At the end of each half of the season, the contestant’s lowest two scores (or missed predictions) of that period will be deducted from the cumulative standings.
