Guess the Starting XI – Match Twenty Six vs. FC Dallas

Welcome back everyone.

After a big win over Austin FC last weekend on the road, the Vancouver Whitecaps are back at BC place this weekend, taking on FC Dallas.

This is going to be a challenging one for the home side, given all of the injuries and absences. Nonetheless, Vancouver has another opportunity to pick up a valuable three points in the race for the top four playoff spots in the West. FC Dallas is currently 11th in the West, with 33 points.

Here is the latest in terms of roster availability.

Keep in mind that in addition to these updates, Ryan Gauld, Andres Cubas, Pedro Vite, Ali Ahmed and Fafa Picault are all away with their respective national teams. Ooof.

Ok, on to rules and standings.

  • Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE (or more accurately, whichever is the correct match thread) before the lineup is officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
  • You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
  • You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
  • All this means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
  • At the end of each half of the season, the contestant’s lowest two scores (or missed predictions) of that period will be deducted from the cumulative standings.
