Welcome back, everyone.
After a great crowd but a disappointing home defeat at the hands of Inter Miami, the Vancouver Whitecaps are back out on the road this Wednesday night for a fixture with Sporting KC at Children’s Mercy Park.
SKC is currently 14th in the West and they’ve lost 5 straight in league play, so there’s no time like the present for the Whitecaps to bump their slump.
Vanni Sartini hinted on the weekend that it might be time to shake things up with this group, so we will see what he cooks up for this one. Damir Kreilach is back at training, so he could feature. Equally, I would expect some rotation to help the tired legs. Sam Adekugbe is still out.
Alright, I’ll be back on the weekend with updated standings, here are the rules as always.
- Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE (or more accurately, whichever is the correct match thread) before the lineup is officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
- You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
- You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
- All this means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
- At the end of each half of the season, the contestant’s lowest two scores (or missed predictions) of that period will be deducted from the cumulative standings.
