Welcome back, everyone.
Vancouver will conclude a gruelling week of MLS action with a trip down to Lumen Field for a date with the Seattle Sounders. In the first outing between these two sides, the Whitecaps walked away with a 2-0 victory, after Jackson Ragen was sent off just before halftime, a bit like Bjorn Inge Utvik in the Whitecaps’ most recent match.
Most recently, Seattle also dropped their midweek match against RSL by a final score of 2-0, though the Sounders have been playing better football as of late, as they were three matches unbeaten prior to their latest defeat.
In terms of availability, I don’t believe much has changed, with both Sam Adekugbe and Damir Kreilach remaining out for the time being. Here’s the latest from training.

Ok, on to rules and standings:
- Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE (or more accurately, whichever is the correct match thread) before the lineup is officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
- You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
- You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
- All this means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
- At the end of each half of the season, the contestant’s lowest two scores (or missed predictions) of that period will be deducted from the cumulative standings.
