Sam is a soccer journalist, the Managing Editor of The Third Sub, and a co-host of The Third Sub Podcast.

Sam has covered the Vancouver Whitecaps and Canadian soccer since 2018 and is a member of the North American Soccer Reporters. He previously worked in athletics at Queen’s University and Simon Fraser University, covering both NCAA and U Sports competitions.

Outside of sports, Sam holds a research degree in applied ethics and currently works in politics.
