Guess the Starting XI – Can Champ vs. Forge

Welcome back, everyone.

It’s a quick turnaround for the Whitecaps, as they jump right back into Canadian Championship play this week, with a second leg match against Forge FC for a spot in Vancouver’s fourth straight final.

Here is the latest from Monday’s training session.

Alright, on to rules and standings we go.

– Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE (or more accurately, whichever is the correct match thread) before the lineup is officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
– You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
– You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
– All this means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
– At the end of each half of the season, the contestant’s lowest two scores (or missed predictions) of that period will be deducted from the cumulative standings.

  1. I’m back from summer and way down the list but it’s so amazing that this thread lives so well. My birthday was Sept 13 so what a great weekend for me. In our beloved seats with the family. I’m thinking they start Muller but I don’t know the CDN rules. I’d say get things done early. Going with a back three though I love Ocampo !

    Since it is a 2nd leg of a semi final I either ace this completely or I fail miserably (Jesper either plays the C team or A team, so I mixed both)
