Sam is a soccer journalist, the Managing Editor of The Third Sub, and a co-host of The Third Sub Podcast.

Sam has covered the Vancouver Whitecaps and Canadian Soccer since 2018. He’s a member of the North American Soccer Reporters, with an active role on several committees. Previously, Sam worked for both Queen’s University and Simon Fraser University in Athletics.

Outside of covering sports, Sam has a research degree in applied ethics. He currently works in politics.
